Audio Visual Room

Maafishi School Audio Visual room can accommodate 35 students at a time. This place consists with many facilities like a 50 inches flat screen T.V, sound system, over head projector, DVD player, smart board and white board . A variety of software of special interest to students is available on each computer in the lab, including Microsoft Office, Corel Office Suite, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and other software running under the Windows 7 operating system. .  All computers in the laboratory are connected to the Internet. All computers have CD-RWs, DVD players, and allow drive data storage. The laboratory is also equipped with a LaserJet Printer which is connected with all the work stations. This room is used for teaching and learning of the students and School activities like classroom presentations, meetings, conferences and lectures.

Objectives 

• Provide the resources easily without any distractions.
• Encourage teachers to use ICT while teaching and make students familiar in lessons.
• Provide and show PPT relate on subjects and different topics
• To provide movies, educational audio and videos to enhance students learning and develop teaching styles by saving time.
• Provide lessons and meetings in a closed environment.

Reservations

• Users may make advanced booking for the same day.
• Each booking is 1 hour. More than one booking is acceptable only if the video televisions are available.
• When making a booking, users must fill in a request form.

AV Room Rules:

• Eating and drinking are highly not permitted inside the AV Room.
• Without a teacher students are not allowed to get inside the AV Room..
• Students need to  watch and listen silently.
